The glaciers were breath taking.

Sometimes we would hear a huge junk fall as it melted and it would sound like thunder.

We watched a fishman cast his net and pull in thousands of pink salmon that we could see jumping high out of the water all around us.

The landscape was astonishing and beautiful. I've never seen anything so majestic.

The ice bergs in Alaska are amazingly blue. Or turqoise. The guide told us that only 10% show above the water. This area of the tour was chilly.

Sea Lions played among the ice bergs.

The sea otters with their fat faces and babies floating on their tummies were the most fun to watch play.

A storm was brewing so we turned back.

Waves started crashing over our tour boat. Quite an exciting ride.

The captian was a pro though, he handled her like a dream.

The captain talked us through most of the storm as he handled the boat like a child he was coaxing home.

Things started to calm down as we got closer to home.
