Why is Eons now allowing children to join?
Eons Terms Of Use now reads that children as young as 13 can join. I thought this group was limited to those 49 and up, what happened? I won't go to Myspace or Face Book because of all the teenie boppers and porn page spammers there and now they w...

The only reason I finally joined a group was that I felt confident I wasn't joining a Myspace or Face Book.. . I didn't realize I would be sharing thoughts with my grandchildrens friends.. :(

If this is true and children can now join why should I remain on Eons. My postings here are done because I am comfortable with a site that is for ADULTS. Most of the groups I belong to are not groups that children would even have an interest in, but I sure wouldn't feel comfortable with any age group surfing through my private thoughts shared with my friends and peers. I have now made all my privacy settings friends only, but that limits the contacts I can have here. I know I am not comfortable accepting a new friend if I cannot first view their profile. I am someone who has limited access to the outside world due to anxiety issues and Eons is my outlet. I may now feel as unsafe here as I do when I walk out my front door. I know that I am not the only one with these types of issues. Mary
