    thank you, this commission is Karen Yardly, the first President of Lauralton Hall Academy, in Milford, Connecticut....
    I chose to Paint her in front of the schools portico, with the ivy scrolling around the stately columns, suggesting knowledge, among the youthful trees, suggesting the students...
    with the sun shinning, suggesting a bright future for all...I enjoyed doing this very much..
    my 3 daughters graduated from Lauralton...
