Remember the Jackson 5 song...
"I'm goin back to Indiana,
Indiana here I come,
I'm goin back to Indiana,
Cause that's where my baby's from!"
Well I've just flown to Indiana, from Florida, for 2 weeks visiting my family. My oldest daughter and her hubby are expecting their first baby. My youngest daughter and her family are desperately in need of my being in close proximity to help out (as mom and grandmother) with their struggles for survival. When I go back to Florida, I'll be singing a new song. This will shock my college professors, and neighbors. I have always intended to remain in the South after graduation from college; making it clear that returning to Indiana was not an option. Lord, I think this is what you want me to do after all. I hope my little family can together relocate to the South from Indiana in the near future. But for now, they're in Indiana, I'm in Florida ALONE (since 2005), and going to sit at the beaches every week by myself, is peaceful, but no fun without my family with me. Going to wonderful, anointed, mega-church service every Sunday is awesome, but no fun without my family with me. I won't even get into the lonesome feelings experienced on holidays in Florida. Yep, the plans have changed. My family needs me, and I need my family!
