An imaginary scene done over an underpainting of brush-cleaning sludge. November is deer hunting season in Maine. I never shot one myself, but I sure do remember what it was like out hunting them.

I have been mightily impressed with all of your brush-cleaning-sludge paintings. Something I want to try myself. Summer ends on the perfect note with this lovely scene.

Happiest of Birthdays to you!

Being a hunter myself -- I love this scene. Where I live hunting begins Oct 18. this year. I will be out in the field enjoying scenery very much like this .I especially like your evergreen trees. Annie Ps-- a little bird (Rose) told me you have a birthday soon --may it be the best ever!
