Great feeling on all the mouths, something I am just starting to face now as my mom wants a painting of here in England. I can draw a decent portrait that someone looks like the subject and then get to like the little smirk here on the oldest and just turn it gruesome. What's you secret?
Centar, the only suggestion I have for the mouth or any part as far as that goes is look at it as if it were a shape. Don't look at it as a mouth. Follow the shapes from the photograph or sitting. Other words, look at everything as a shape. If you view it as a mouth, subconsciously, your going to try and DRAW A MOUTH period. I'll worked and worked on different areas until I get it right. Sometimes just one small little mark will make all the difference in the world. Sometimes just a little darkening or lightening in an area.
