Another fine design. The iridescent quality of the brown glaze is a perfect compliment to the globe glaze.

Glazes are great! The body is glaze over glaze, Right? I got as similar effect with Reitz's Green and Val's Blue Black. I really like the look.

No, pnm, nothing so earnest or complicated or daring as that. The body is a commercial glaze called Reptilian. Different effects are achieved by quantity and directional flow during application. This is the same glaze that is on the neck of the leaning pitcher also posted on the group photo page. You can see the difference in results.
