Looks like a fun bunch! The kind of place I might have liked to work. I did work at Lotus Development Corp. for awhile....that was a great and fun place to work too. This pic kind of reminds me of those days...keep on truckin!

There are some people in that picture that don't look anywhere near old enough to be Boomers!
I want to know their secret!!
8-)

I would like to know if any people of "color" are employed by Eons or on a board /team that helps keep Eons up and running. The Eons community is made up and supported by a variety of ethnic people I do not see any on the team picture. I LOVE Eons it is my favorite online group and just wondering

Wow... it amazes me that in this day & time age & color comes up.....I thought people of our age were beyond that.

Well, with a staff of at least 27 by my count, it is a fair question methinks. Perhaps the questions will encourage EONS to engage in some EEO efforts to bring some balance.

After all EONS represents the full spectrum of human experience, and perhaps the management would benefit by exploring something similar.

This is a great employee "family" photo! It's always nice to see friendly faces such as all of yours, reminding us you are there for us when we need you & are truly real peole!
You all look like you enjoy working as a team, thanks for making EONS happen, a great place for networking, to help & be helped, with the treasure of endless possibilities of friendships!

sorry, but in "this day and age", it is more important than EVER to make sure that people of all colors and ages are appropriately represented, especially by an organization that professes to know these demographic groups and cater to their needs and desires. no offense, but a twenty or thirtysomethin' has NO IDEA what I want or need and they would be quite but off if I claimed to be able to relate to them. Yes, we are all "people", but what we have experienced and WHEN we have had those experiences greatly informs who we are as individuals AND as a generation. Great concept, Great site, but PLEASE don't sweep these comments and concerns under the table.

Nice looking group. I especially like the raise fists. Thanks for having me and having a group dedicated to my generation. By the way, how do I go about writng a pm to Jane Semor? (Thought it was worth a try...)

Get a life, people! Do you really think a bunch of old geezers sit around working on the eons website? The geezers are r-e-t-i-r-e-d, remember?
Perspective!

Kudos on your website. I do the braingames almost every night although I'm only a marginal geezer and it's amazing to watch my progress over time.
Thanks!

must be nice to be retired at 55. how'd you manage that. as someone who just turned 53, i didn't realize that I was a GEEZER. all of my forty and fifty-something friends still work and make tremendous contributions in their professional situations everyday. there are other ways to get the brain exercised than doing games on a computer.

Great photo! Great team! Great work!

You all (and all Eon-ers here) do a great job of keeping this "home" going and representing our diverse population. I'm so glad to have found this community!

Ref: Divagranky's question (which I thought was posed very gently and in good spirit), in this day and age it's all that more important not to become complacent. We've lived through some wonderful changes and made incredbile in-roads, but that doesn't mean we don't continue to work and question ourselves.

This is in no way a criticism of the team and the great efforts going on here, but the question is a fair one and one that should be kept in mind for the future and beyond.

Hi -- one thing I wondered about. The group seems to be all white -- maybe there are some other shades, but they aren't apparent. What's up with that? Had to ask...

The team is white because software developers are white, quite generally.

Before adding my comment I read through the thread, and I'm so glad I did. Like several others I too wondered why there were no people of color. BTW, most of the software developers I'm familiar with are Asians (generally). Looking past the make-up of the "team" it's a great looking group who certainly display sheer delight in being on the Eons Team. Congrats.

I placed some EONS stuff on one of my websites,

I even have your ad, temporarily, on there hoping I can interest you into monetizing it for me so that I can keep it there. Please have your ad manager contact me. I think your site is terrific.
I'd like to chase some good people to you.
