Give me a break. The man's name is what it is--it means nothing more or less than what his parents named him. Please judge him on his record and his intent. You might be surprised what you find.

I think that it is people like a couple of the individuals who commented on this picture that are the real reson this country is looked upon as a joke... not leaders who have a name similar to those of our adversaries! I wonder if the people in this country can become any more cynical and ignorant than these few here? Instead of attacking a man's name why not focus on what he has to offer! Barack Obama has a good message and a good record and I will be proud to have him as the next cheif executive of this country!
The first three comments are a pretty sad reflection of the narrow-mindedness that will bring this country to its knees one day. Whatever happened to wisdom with aging? To condemn someone because they have an ethnic first name that you associate with people that have absolutely no connection with Senator Obama is idiotic to say the least! His name is NOT OBAMA BIN LADEN and NOT OBAMA BARACK. Personally, I don't give a hoot what his NAME is. It has nothing to do with what kind of person or politician he is.
I think the salient issue is going to be whether or not that voter will once and for all clear their consience and vote for Mr Obama. 1% or 2% is all that is needed by any candidate to win. Imagine the money that is spent for those 100,000 votes. In the past a few key precints [sp] here and there decided the winner. Conservatives needed huge turnout in their states to off set the fraud in some big democratic cities, read Chicago,Philadelphia, NY, etc.
As a white mother I REALLY feel it's time you acknowledge your white roots. I have two hispanic children and if I ever heard them just ignore my role in their racial profile I'd be offended. Honor YOUR mother. She's AT LEAST half of your true heritage.
