When I read the poem it pop in to my mind, why it a Morning Prayer and of course my painting of Morning Prayer came to mind.

Like the colors, good contrast. I don't know the poem so I'm not sure if this is mystical or Native American. Nice imaginative painting.

it's a beautiful painting and the morning light poem was written with a Native American girl in mind.I was in a group of woman who wanted to choose Native American names for ourselves..according to ritual of picking a name it's supposed to be the first thing you see in the morning..so I called myself Morning Light and wrote the poem to go with it.
so your painting fits my poem Morning Light and it will go in the running with any other paintings of illustrations for picking a winner soon.
