............this looks like volcanic vesicular Basalt full of phenocrysts and zeolites.

Yes, I thought this might be an Amygdaloidal Basalt. Amygdaloidal basalt is formed when minerals are deposited in the almond shaped gas bubbles that were trapped in the basalt as it was cooling. These vesicles or pores were later the site for mineral precipitation. I do see the presense of much quartz. Other white material, not sure.
