El Pescador Beach Storm Coming In

9X12 Acrylic Sketch on Canvas: Quick 45 minutes sketch before the winds came in and blew sand all over everything. This was my first plein air outing this summer and I was please to see summer colors again, I will probably go back to this later & larger.

I liked it the way it was, but this is even better. The island gives better balance to the composition. I don't think you need to mess around with perfection! It's great.

The rocks are fantastic.

I do like the Island in view....it does give more depth.... as to the red....???? maybe a plastic shovel that washed up on the shore or a piece of sea glass or a red scarf left from a stroll...... You decide..... I love what you are doing here.... Like Virginia said..... no messing with perfection!!!!!

I agree with Richard. I love the rock! And Jazzy came up with the perfect red! You decide!

You bring a tear to my eye with this. I use to sail to Catalina and loved to stay weekends there. Add to that that anything with the Pacific Ocean touches my soul.

Your vivid colors are wonderful. No haze or smog in your painting. It is how things should look. Nice shadows. I like the technique you use to create the waves. They are lively and inviting. You make me want to jump in and go for a swim.
