Moonlight Over Positano

Painted from my window in the Boca Hotel overlooking the Tyrolean Sea just as the moon came up revealing Capri Island 18 miles off in the distance. A real confusion of lights from the beach and church, ambient, artificial and moonlight. Finally done.

Love this one centar. This is the one isn't it that you had trouble getting the area where the ocean meets the bank isn't it? That's sort of a concaved courtyard in the foreground right?

Yup, that part is still wrong, but I could not bring myself to paint over the parking lot and I liked the way it was lit, so I have to live with it. I think the problem is that the parking lot is slightly raised and I got the perspective wrong to start with, Hah!
