Don't like to add comments to my initial posting, but felt more detail needed on shot. You can see why they call Montana the Big Sky. Winter shot taken from top of Big Mt. ski area, where I spend every Sat. and sometimes Sun. in winter. In foreground is town of Whitefish, further back is Kalispell where I live...and way back is Flathead Lake. This valley was part of huge Glacier that moved from the north all the way down to Missoula 120 miles south. O.K. so much for my geology session. I just feel so lucky to be able to live here...wanted to share details. You'll want to put it on your itinerary some day.
