What a sweet face. I never could get my hair to curl. Only storybook characters actually had ringlets.

I hated my curls..I had curly hair from birth from my dad ( see photo of him and me as a babe) and my mother made ringlets of my hair..later when the girls ironed theirs, it didn't work on mine it just frizzed up. I wished for straight hair and I wanted braids but there wasn't anyway to get mine braided..I guess we are never happy with what ee get!. ( my curls always reminded me of Little LuLu comics .my hair is still curly today
