As the "unfolding passion" series represents my favorite of all her abstracts, this is my favorite of her ventures into realism. She has managed to produce the overwhelming nature of an approaching swell, thus reflecting not only the overpowering feature of one of life's more somber trials, but also the relentlessly sweeping onset of death.
