Reniassance Temptress - #2 soft Dixon Ticonderoga pencil + finger + eraser on 11" X 14" Bristol Board

From a photo I took a few years ago at the Maine Reniassance Fair in Lebanon, ME. I like working from life, but the subject stays motionless in a photo. Even so, it rarely takes more than an hour to do a portrait. The dress took the longest.

notice, everyone, the highlighted folds in her dress made by simply erasing... I can remember an electric eraser I once used in the navy that really did the job well.

Very nice Urbab! I tend to use my fingers a lot also in my work. I can't help it! I wonder if what I've heard about the oils in your skin not being good on the paper etc. that you're working on?
