From the window of the former McDonald's upstairs to the train station in Bad Kreuznach, Germany in the rain. The station looks almost the same as it did in the 50s. This was taken in the late 90s. The station still looked the same in 2008 but McDonald's is being turned into a bank.
The station may look almost the same but the street is really different now. When we lived in BK in the early 50s it was cobbled and there was no traffic light. A policeman stood on a small wooden platform and directed traffic. Townsfolk brought him Christmas presents, laying them around the platform. Sometimes shepherds would come down this street, leading their flocks back home and traffic would be stopped.
