The peppers are simply beautiful. What is the darker one? All you need is the chile piquin that grows wild. Do you have some of those? If not I would gladly pick some to dry so you can plant.
The darker peppers are purple bells but I usually let them stay on the plant til they turn red. I also let the jalapenos turn red, they are sweeter and more flavorful. I enjoy the colors of the peppers as well as the flavor. I made some salsa today, very picante but oh, so flavorful. Qvo, do save some piquin seeds, I don't have any of those.
