Thanks for the comment on my curly haired photo! I was 12 when it was taken. My Mom loved to mess with my hair (I didn't share her enthusiasm...after all, I was the one sitting there having my head yanked from side to side...or whatever!) and she had rolled it on those old metal rollers I mentioned on Miss the Old Days. She had combed my hair out, the using her fingers and a brush, she "re-rolled" the little curls. I think I had recently had a home perm, so the curls stayed in good. Normally, I have straight hair, but it is thick and fine and curls easily. I'm one of the lucky ones!
