This is absolutely beautiful franticfran! It looks exactly like the plant! Did you design this? Queen Anne's Lace is one of my favorite wild flowers. The folk lore on it is quite amazing also.
Thank you WillowWings. I chose the stitches and used candle wicking for the thread. I found it on Ebay and bought both pieces (including the original yarns, threads to do the kit) as a kit. The original yarn and threads were multiple colors but I wanted something more striking. One of the pieces had been started, but only a few stitches were done. The kit was only $5.00 and $5.00 shipping! So, I'm happy. The pieces are being framed right now. Will take one more picture after they are framed so that you can see the 'finished' project.
