I've been asked to do some illustrations for a Catholic magazine and I was given a poem to illustrate. The theme had to do with light being a beacon to guide you through rough times. I'm not overly religious or anything, I just happened to be offered this opportunity and since I've always had a fantasy to illustrate kid's books, I thought it would be a good experience. I did this while recovering from surgery, so not sure if it is my best shot, but hopefully they will like it.
