Just as it is recommended to exercise your body on a regular basis, it is similarly important for you to exercise your brain regularly. Like other Eons games, Eons Social Games are challenging and fun online games that will help to exercise your brain, with the added excitement of playing with other people! There are two ways to play -- either "Match Me" or "Invite Friends" (which allows you to invite Friends on Eons or family and friends who are not members of Eons). If you select "Match Me," you will be randomly matched with another Eons member who is currently online and waiting to play the same game. If you select "Invite Friends," you will be able to invite Eons members or anyone else you like!

If you want to play with a specific person, you will want to plan ahead and set up a time when you are both available. That way, your invitee will be ready to join you as soon your official "invite" is received.

Invite Eons members to play

  1. Make sure you are logged into Eons, and then choose a specific Social Game to play. The introductory game window will launch; click "Play Game" to go to the game.
  2. When you are on the Game page, click "Play Now."
  3. Click "Match Me" if you want to be randomly matched with someone on Eons now.
  4. Click "Invite Friends" if you have planned to play a game with an Eons Friend.
  5. Your Eons screen name will appear in the "Your email address" field. If it does not, log into Eons, then continue.
  6. Type in either the Eons screen name of the member you would like to invite into the "Your friends email addresses" box, or select a Friend by double-clicking on the Friend's screen name that appears in the "remembered addresses." If you like, type in a short, optional message.
  7. Click "Send it." You will be taken to a "lobby area" to wait for your Friend to show up. Once your invited friend's name appears in the "Players so far" box, you can begin playing.


Play against family and other friends

Playing Social Games is a great way to connect with younger family members or friends who have not yet experienced Eons. Invite your son at college, your grandchild across the country, or a friend who might be new to Eons to play!

  1. Select a Social Game to play, and after the game window launches, click "Play now."
  2. Click "Invite Friends."
  3. If your family or friends are not familiar with your Eons screen name you should change this to your email address instead. The field can accept either a screen name or email address.
  4. Type in the email address of the person you wish to invite into the "Your friends email addresses" box.
  5. If you like, type in a short, optional message.
  6. Click "Send it." You will be taken to the "lobby area" to wait for your guest to show up to play the game with you.


If you have selected a Social Game that allows more than two players, you may invite both Eons members and other folks to play at the same time.
