1. How to invite Friends on Eons
Keeping up with your Friends and Favorite bloggers is easy on Eons. You can create links to them from your Profile page.
Friends are people with whom you agree to have direct, regular contact and share more personal information. They include both real-life and online friends. To become "Friends," you and the other person must be Eons members and agree to accept one another as Friends.
To invite someone to be a Friend:
- Go to the Profile of the Eons member you would like to invite to become your Friend.
- Click on "Invite as a friend."
- Confirm your invitation when a screen pops up asking you to do so.
- An email will be sent informing your potential Friend about your invitation.
- Once your invitation is accepted, you are both added to each other's Friends list. At that point, you will see an image of the Friend in your Friends box.
- In a separate Friend Updates box you will see the latest blog posts and other activities on Eons.
Favorites are Eons members you find interesting but have no direct contact with. The Favorites designation is essentially a bookmark that allows you to easily access the person's Profile, from which you can read blogs and other public information.
To add a Favorite:
- Go to the Profile of the Eons member you would like to add as a Favorite.
- Click on "Add to Favorites."
- You can now view your new Favorites in the Favorites box on your Profile.

2. How to follow your Friends' activities
You can keep track of what your Friends are doing on Eons.
Friend Updates keep you informed of your Friends' latest blog postings, group comments, and new photos.
- On your Profile page, you will see a short list of your Friends' most recent activities.
- You can click on More Friends updates to see a full list of your Friends' activities.
- To sort the list by user or by date, click on the appropriate link at the top of the list.
- Click within the individual update to view the actual update, where you can see what your Friend has been doing.
Imagine your circle of friends begins to grow, to say 100 or more. That's not uncommon for a social networking site like Eons. How can you keep track of them all? And what happens when, as in real life, one of these friendships cools?
Two features let you customize your list of Friends:
Editing Friends
You can add personal notes to each Friend that only you can see. The notes help you remember important information about that Friend or the conversation you shared. You can add/edit the notes by clicking on the edit link accompanying each Friend's photo in your full Friends list (linked from your Profile page).
Deleting Friends:
If you want to remove a person from your Friends list, just click on the remove link accompanying each Friend's photo in your full Friends list (linked from your Profile page). Deleting a Friend removes that person from your Friends list and you from theirs.
