You can become an Eons member in just five minutes. But before you get started you may want to print this page so you can follow along with the steps while signing up.
1. On the Eons home page (www.eons.com), in the top left corner you can find and click "Sign up".
2. Fill in the boxes (ZIP code, email address, date of birth, gender).
3. Create a "screen name" by which others will know you. A screen name is like a nickname. (Most people don't use their real names, for the sake of privacy, but it's up to you.) The most common short screen names (such as "Bud") have been taken already, but you can make yours unique by adding numbers to the screen name ("Bud50," for example). Also, your screen name needs to be one word (no spaces allowed).
4. Create a password for logging in to Eons.
5. Check the "Special offers" box if you want to receive occasional offers from Eons and our partners and to subscribe to our weekly newsletter informing you of what's new on our site. If you change your mind later, you can check or uncheck this option from the "update my privacy settings" link on your home page.
6. Check "agree to terms" (after you read them) to indicate that you understand the terms of use for our site.
7. Type in the strange letters you see in a box into the field below it. This is a way to prevent spammers from infiltrating our site. (You can read the letters but an automated spam robot can't!)
8. Click "Sign up" and you're in!
Once you are registered, you will see several changes on the Eons home page. In fact, almost all of the elements on the left side are customized for your account, giving you direct links to "My LifeDreams," "My LifeMap," and "My blog".
Now you are a full-fledged member of Eons! Welcome!
