History

Places I've been
I was born in Detroit, Mich., but spent most of my life growing up in Ohio. (Hometown), High School Name (City, State) I graduated in 1967. College Name I did stints at Youngstown State University and Kent State University, but did not graduate. Occupation(s) After making the rounds through manufacturing, I finally landed my dream job at the daily newspaper in my hometown. I eventually became the editor of that newspaper and two others before retiring. In between, I've lived in many different places -- Michigan, Ohio, Hawaii, Texas, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Georgia, Wisconsin and Florida. I've written one book (unpublished) that tells the story of a WWII veteran, and I am working on a second and third.

About me

WRITER2

"I am trying to walk through the wilderness of my own soul, examining the untamed, wild side of my nature so that my deepest thoughts can be called to the altar of my imagination. There is where the creative me sleeps and where dreams mix with reality. When I am in that space, the energy of the universe compels me and the words begin to flow. And I write."

If you're reading this, please don't leave without signing my guestbook below.

ABOUT ME

I'm married and retired. My wife and I moved to Florida in 2005, fleeing the freezing temps of Wisconsin. We have three children and two grandchildren and love our new lifestyle. I've written a fictional WWII novel about the crew of the U.S.S. Saratoga, an aircraft carrier, and am now working on a murder mystery.

In 2007, I finished a novelette entitled "Spirit Dancers," about 16,000 words. It about two Baby Boomers who meet in an Internet chatroom and go on a magical and erotic quest of each other's arms with the help of two Native American spirit guides. Send me a PM with an e-mail address if you would like to read it.

I try to write daily and complete a Sudoku puzzle. I enjoy working outdoors, rollerblading and walking the beaches of Flagler County. I seem to be bloggin more, emptying my mind of all kinds of thoughts. Of course, I check in at EONS almost daily, too.
