Hiker. Swimmer. Gourmet cook. Entrepreneur. Writer. Teacher. Westerner. Music lover. Amateur photographer. I've been all of these and more. 

I grew up on the East Coast but life really began when I moved to Colorado in the early 1970s. I loved the open spaces, the beautiful mountain scenery and the sunny, dry climate. I can't imagine living anywhere else. 

 I spent most of my professional life as a writer and then transitioned into marketing. My most recent professional chapter is teaching. I am a substitute teacher and absolutely love it. I wish I'd discovered teaching earlier in my career, but so it goes.

In recent years I've also developed an interest in outdoor photography. Living in Colorado there's always something beautiful to see and capture with my camera. I like sharing photos with the Eons community.

The outdoors is a huge part of my life. I've been hiking in Colorado and the western states for 15 years. I snowshoe during winter months. I also love water sports, especially kayaking and white water rafting. My best job was as a lifeguard while I was in college.

All my outdoor activities work up an appetite which is good because I love to cook. I especially like spicy foods like chili and barbecue. Chocolate's the best food on earth. I like entertaining and cooking for my friends.

 

 

 

Activities

Hiking anywhere the views are good. I've hiked in Colorado, Oregon, Nevada, the Grand Tetons, Hawaii, New Mexico, and California. In winter I'm out on my snowshoes. I'm getting interested in outdoor photography and look forward to bringing images of my world to the Eons community.
