More about me

I've been a number of things in my life. The family business centred on the sale of farm and landscaping supplies. In the early 70s, I helped establish our family wholesale and retail produce business and garden centre. I've also been a high school English teacher and a curator of a mid-sized museum. I've done marketing and apartment audits. Now, in retirement, I've come full circle. I work (very) part-time at RONA Home and Garden Centre, primarily in the garden centre and greenhouse. RONA is a large Canadian DIY chain, much like Home Depot, Lowe's and B&Q. I am an active photographer and hope to sell images online

Favorite Music

Troubadour Music, Chants, Renaissance, Dixieland, Blues, Folk, Bluegrass, Rockabilly, Celtic, Headbanger Rock. Actually played piano, guitar and sax, but am not really active anymore.

Capote, Million Dollar Baby, Glengarry, Glenross, Good Night and Good Luck

Favorite Books

Belong to an audio book club called Talking Book World. It ain't cheap, but if I listen to two books per week, which I can't always manage, I can get through a hundred plus books a year.Other than that, I'm a great lover of medieval history, psychology and science books and magazines.
