About

Hometown
San Jose, California.
Places I've been
Lots of time spent in Mexico over the past 30 years or so. We've especially enjoyed Baja California...Ensenada, San Quintin, Catavina, San Ignacio and Mulege. Mostly camping in our old VW Vanagon and newer Eurovan in remote areas on the beach and in the deserts. I also travel to southern Mexico every year to visit an old friend retired in Puerto Angel in the state of Oaxaca. For the past three years, I've flown to Zihuatanejo with my youngest son for a week of knocking around the Pacific coast. He surfs, I relax, read and take photos, then I take a 14 hour bus trip south to Puerto Angel. My wife and I have traveled a bit in the western states and enjoy the desert areas. We've also been to Hawaii and Costa Rica, and enjoyed a cruise to Alaska a few years ago. We have a good friend in Spokane, Washington, and try to get up there whenever possible. California offers endless possibilities for travel and sightseeing, and we've barely scratched the surface so far. We're both retired now, so look forward to exploring our state and beyond. Photos to come as we get out and about. I was born in Texas - Olney - and came to California at age five. Sharon is a California native from the San Joaquin Valley.
