Followed the European Gran Prix to Monza / Milan, Osterreich / Zeltweg, Bremgarten, Marseille, Silverstone / London, Spa/Brussels, Zandvoort / Amsterdam, Nurburg, Bonn, Monaco, Madrid, and Barcelona; rode the night freedom train to Berlin and saw the Berlin Wall; I drove Nurberring track and Osterreichring track, seen the live performance of The Passion Play in Oberammergau. Lived in Selingenstadt and Bremen, DE./ Spa and Brussells, BE./ Newcastle, AU./ Ashdod, IL./Rouen, FR./ San Francisco, Ca./ NYC, NY/. Also visited UAE, Dubai and Ajman. Been to ALL Gugenheim Museums, the Smithsonian, most all of the American Field and Nature Musuems, the Louvre, and top of Eiffel Tower. Been to the top of Washington momument and Statue of Liberty. Saw the national redwood forest, and mountains of Northern California, seen Yosemite, and Yellowstone, traveled across Death Valley to Las Vegas, and Donner Pass to Reno, been to places from the Alamo, to Graceland, to Mammoth Caves, to Zolfo Springs. Drove the Pacific Coast Hwy roads from Capistrano Beach to Hammond, drove across Southern America from Daytona Beach to San Francisco and Northern America back again. Traveled from Rehobooth beach to Smathers beach on Coastal hwys. Been to 36 state capitals, 44 states, and understand that America is a big, beautiful, bountiful country. In traveling and talking face to face to people from every state also understand that people share basic ideas and needs; the diversity of cultures and beliefs is what makes America great, but people are unsure of anything that is different from themselves and that makes people weaker. Also enjoyed participation in 35 Mardi Gras', walked across the Bonnet Carre Spillway and witnessed the opening of the flood gates twice and saw the Morganza Spillway opened once. Gambled in Monte Carlo casinos, visited six Hawaiian islands, surfed, also vacationed in Grand Bahamas, Nassau, Antigua, Jamaica, and Barbados. ... I left the military travels off this section.

I find humor in many things and enjoy to laugh; even at myself. Copacetic, but at times obnoxious. Honest, but human.-- I do not have to keep secrets anymore, but will retain the logic to do so. Generous, but easily parsimonious. Confident, competent, and objective, but arrogant. --- Inquisitively curious and still learning. I have attained a few collegiate degrees. A little narcissistic (as self evident by this page), more prideful probably, Far from being perfect or being unflawed, but happy and secure with what I know and who I am now. I'm sort of tall at 6'5'' plus and 248 lbs. Fiercely devoted to beliefs, friends, life and loyalties. --- Happiness is a learned gift and acceptance of self and others. We are only responsible for our own happiness. I care about humanity as a whole, especially including my own humanity. However, only you can make you happy. Deliberate sciolism, semantics or illusions should not infringe on our living. People should never replace reason with fear, and never accept ignorance as a virtue. People are never too old to improve their active mind, but nothing can be learned in factless opinion and emotion.--- I believe timing is important to the fates, but our destiny is within our own reach. I believe the zen bushido virtues of benevolence, sincerity, loyalty, honor, bravery, courtesy, and decision with equanimity or rectitude have a place in living life. I think people should be honest with themselves and others.-- As a VFW member and DAV, my heart is with soldiers, but wars usually are political, economic, or religious, and in the end, wrong. War is an abomination to the human spirit and soul. I will however, fight to the death to defend you and our rights. --- Was born and raised in New Orleans, raised by grandparents, childhood summers in Waveland on Gulf coast, lived in Europe, in New York, and in San Francisco. Helped out in the Loma Prieta and Katrina aftermath. Now settled in Florida and Louisiana. Just a beach bum living on the beach in Ponce Inlet, FL. ---- My heroes: Aetius,Odysseus,Peleus,Lemuel Gulliver,Robinson Crusoe,Sherlock Holmes,Chingachgook,Major Thomas Thorn, Arthur Radley, Bond James Bond, Batman, Superman, Plastic Man, Spiderman, but mostly and with pride, MY SONS.

The Little Sister of the Poor -(www.littlesistersofthepoor.org) This was the charity of my grandfather, and the charity of my father, and now my charity. --- (Quoting American poet Anne Sexton: "It doesn't matter who my father was; it matters who I remember he was.") In 2009, started donating to: Remote Area Medical. "http://www.ramusa.org/" I was surprised how much work R.A.M. is doing in America because it was determined that we need it more than some 3rd world countries. Amazing!

Life should be lived like you mean it; as well as possible. Life is given to be enjoyed; yet living bears responsibility to ourself and others.- If you want miracles, you should plan, work, strive, practice, pray, and make accomplishments toward miracles; miracles rarely happen just by waiting for them to occur. - Don't confuse your working towards a goal, with avoiding responsibility in other things.- OLD is a state of acknowledged time passing, accepted limitations, gathered information, abilities, and memories of loves, family, sacrifices, joys, mistakes, responsibilties, choices, moments, opportunities, accomplishments, loss, and experiences in life. MATURITY in life is being able to reflect on all those memories, understand and accept them without any bias, grudge, resentment, or regret.
