Lived/worked in Vidalia, Ga for 33 years after college and short time with Rockwell Mfg. in Statesboro, Ga. Employed with manufacturer of electrical equipment plant owned by FPE, Reliance, Challenger, Westinghouse, Thomas and Betts, etc as Eng. Mgr. and Plant Mgr. Spent some time trying to move business into Mexico but didn't work so they retired me. Recently returned to home town to assist as caretaker for family members. Traveled to almost all states, Canada, Puerto Rica, Jaimaca, Bahamas, and Mexico but most of it was on business.

More about me

Basically a farm boy who spent his life "uptown" to make a living. Now retired and remarried for the third time, moved back to my hometown and trying to figure out why I'm still here and what to do when I grow up. Spend a good bit of time seeing bout my 93 yr. ole Mama and helping take care of my wife's three Yorkies. Have found out I am a pretty good yard man. Love golf, but back problems limit play. We also have an RV and talk about hitting the road for awhile but never seem to get around to it.

Still having a hard time adjusting to retired life. Would like to hear from any of you who could help me decide what to do in retirement that has some meaning or joy (And it probably ought to be legal).

Gardening, golf, travel, taking care of Yorkies, helping care for old folks, lots of yard work and too much sitting on my butt

Playboy and anything by Sandra Brown or John Grisham. Also like real life--autobiographies---just finally read Colin Powells

Deep in the woods, high on a mountain and down by the sea shore.

Dogs, cats, horses, cows and some homo sampiens. Don't like possums and hogs.
