More about me

I have lived in Northern California for most of my life.  My family moved from Sao Paulo, Brazil to San Francisco, California when I was eight years old, so I feel like a "Native Californian".   I have 2 wonderul adult daughters who are very strong, independent and intelligent women, and my good friends.  I started my own business 17 years ago, which became rather successful so when I recevied a rather attractive offer to sell most of it, I did!   Still have part of the business and am looking to start something new!   Definetly not afraid of risk or hard work!

I am a very positive person and believe that everything and everyone that comes into your life has a purpose and we are to learn from that.  Believe in spirituality, and that we should always try to help those less fortunate.  I am also passionate when it comes to animals: I currently have 3 cats and 4 dogs; love them all; and we are very happy.  I  have passed on my passion of animals to my daughters (don't know if that is good or bad?) 

I am at a great place in my life right now because I finally feel "whole".  I think that sometimes it takes women a little bit longer to get to this place, but hopefully most of us get there.  I am looking forward in connecting with others who feel like they are just starting the next chapter in their lives, ready for what this life has to offer.
