About me
I am a retired Registered Nurse and am currently doing genealogy/family research as a hobby and pasttime.
I have written seven books on family lineages so far and have notes for eight more (over 5000 pages at present) that need to be typed and edited. What began as a hobby to keep me busy while recovering from surgery has become a full time obsession.
I love to spend time with my family, especially my grand daughters. The four girls and I, called by the family "The Ladies Club", go to lunch, go shopping, go to the library, and play games and do crafts. Ranging in age from 4 to 12, the girls are a variety of personality types and never fail to make my day.
I am married to a retired Army Staff Sgt. who shares my love of photography and tolerates my love of genealogy and cemetery "prowling"
Taking snapshots has always been a favorite thing to do, but last year I got a new digital camera with all the lenses, bells and whistles. Now I am trying to become a decent photographer, starting with my family and friends, who are continously subjected to my rabid shutter. The grandchildren love the attention, but my husband has threatened more than once bury my camera in the back pasture.
I am a cancer survivor... and proud of it.
