More about me

I like doing things but don't necessarily make suggestions. That's because I'm like clay(I've found life is more enjoyable doing things I've never given thought too).  Of course if I don't agree I will be sure to let you know.

I enjoy eating out but I'm allergic to seafood and I have diabetes so I do watch what I eat but not as strictly as my doctor tells me to.  I love chocolate in fact I can't stay away from it.  I enjoy conversation over coffee but not necessarily flavored coffee.  I enjoy driving around the city and sometimes drive a single lane of the freeway to see where it will take me.

I enjoy riding my bike when ever I get the chance but most of the time just in the hospital parking lot or the three story parking garage near my rental duplex.

I'm a man who really loves his family and really enjoys the family reunion as you can tell by the pictures and those are only a fraction of the pictures not to mention the videos I took.

I've lived in the same place for 12 years because I abhorred moving.  I drive 33 miles one way to get to work and have been doing that for 16 years(except for two years I didn't have a ride).  I'm as routine/predictable as the sun during the week, I don't stop anywhere on my way home from work and sometimes it's very difficult to get me motivated.  That's probably because I haven't done much for the past few years.  My best friend the person I did everything with (for over 13 years) passed away and I haven't been motivated to do anything since.  I don't like doing things by myself. and two of those years(mentioned earlier) I didn't have my own transportation and used that as an excuse for not doing anything. But I've finally gotten over the hardship and moping

I love teaching and making people laugh.  It takes me a little while to feel comfortable with people but once I do I'm fun to know

My distinct personality, The Shepherd is to tend to your human flock. You understand the needs of those for whom you are responsible. Shepherds are vigilant and reliable. You realize your obligation and commitment to the well being of those entrusted to your care. Shepherds are very dependable. You engender a feeling of comfort and stability to those within your charge. On the positive side, Shepherds can be empathic, caring, understanding, practical and realistic. On the negative side, you may be manipulative, close-minded and sentimentally rigid. Interestingly, your preference is just as applicable in today's corporate kingdoms.

HANDY LITTLE CHART God has a positive answer: YOU SAY GOD SAYS BIBLE VERSES You say: "It's impossible" God says: All things are possible (Luke 18:27) You say: "I'm too tired" God says: I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28-30) You say: "Nobody really loves me" God says: I love you (John 3:1 6 & John 3:34 ) You say: "I can't go on" God says: My grace is sufficient (II Corinthians 12:9 & Psalm 91:15) You say: "I can't figure things out" God says: I will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5- 6) You say: "I can't do it" God says: You can do all things (Philippians 4:13) You say: "I'm not able" God says: I am able (II Corinthians 9:8) You say: "It's not worth it" God says: It will be worth it (Roman 8:28 ) You say: "I can't forgive myself" God says: I Forgive you (I John 1:9 & Romans 8:1) You say: "I can't manage" God says: I will supply all your needs (Philippians 4:19) You say: "I'm afraid" God says: I have not given you a spirit of fear (II Timothy 1:7) You say: "I'm always worried and frustrated" God says: Cast all your cares on ME (I Peter 5:7) You say: "I'm not smart enough" God says: I give you wisdom (I Corinthians 1:30) You say: "I feel all alone" God says: I will never leave you or forsake you (Hebrews 13:5) PASS THIS ON. YOU NEVER KNOW WHO MAY BE IN NEED The first sentence is pretty powerful! God determines who walks into your life....it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go." Father, God bless all my friends in whatever it is that you know they may need this day! And may their life be full of your peace, prosperity and power as they seek to have a closer relationship with you. Amen. Keep people in your circle that are doing more than you so you will never become complacent and you will always strive for more. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6
