Places I've been

I lived in KY & Arkansas when I was a kid, but we arrived in Las Vegas on my 12th birthday. I have been here ever since and seen MANY changes to the town. I haven't traveled much in my time, but I have been to Mexico several times and went to Hawaii in "84. Also went to Alaska several times a year to visit my sister; she lived in Anchorage for many years. Drop out of high school in my senior year; went back to school and got my high school diploma. Graduated in '95, same year as my youngest child.

Stay at home mom; raising 2 grandkids, 13 & 14. There isn't alot of time for myself with these kids, but I read, crochet & play on my computer ALOT. I have 4 grown kids & 6 more grandkids besides the ones I raise. I have also been with my husband 30 years; married 26 of those years. Even tho I live in Las Vegas, there are many sights I haven't seen around town; when you work in casinos for so long you don't want anything to do with them. Started school to be a midwife, but quit when I got custody of my grandkids; they were small & needed alot of care. I love to read, especially Stephen King and Anne Rice. Also a movie fanatic; buy new movies every week when the new ones come out on Tuesdays. I always have had a house full of dogs. Right now I have 5; Mama, Dad, 2 of their puppies and a chihuahua.

rock, classical; I'll listen to just about any music-I really enjoy Luciano Pavarotti & the Beatles

Favorite TV Shows

anything on the History or Sci-Fi channel, don't really watch much TV but will watch X-files, Twilight Zone; really like sci-fi and anything about the Civil War & WW2

Favorite Movies

I'LL watch any kind of movie-even cartoons with my 5 granddaughters; love Gone with the Wind & historical movies-Braveheart, The Patriot etc. Buy lots of movies; watch them alone on my laptop. Really LOVE Monty Python & the Holy Grail

Favorite Books

horror, mostly Stephen King & Anne Rice. Just finished Atonement; VERY good book. I'm going to start the new Stephen King Duma Key tonight. All time favorite book is Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurty.

all my grandchildren; 6 girls & 2 boys; raising 1 grandson and 1 granddaughter since '97; my 4 kids & my dogs (like them better than most people)

ELEPHANTS!!! I collect them and have over 1000 of them around my house.
