I really don't like talking about myself - I think other people are infinitely more interesting than myself. Growing up, I was a very shy person, although not now. I was born in Texas and still retain a slight accent to sharp observers, although I spent my formative years in Phoenix, Arizona and thought the sunshine had burned it out of me. I have led an uneventful life, for the most part; much of it somewhat cloistered due to an overly protective Catholic upbringing, although I did manage to grow up and graduate from college, something no one in my family ever did. I actually identify with that guy from 'Being There' (Peter Sellers). In my life, I have been a receptionist, waitress, secretary, sales clerk, bank teller, student, wife, mother, software technician, engineering aide, jr. programmer, editor, and now, writer. I have been to many parts of Colorado and California, and have visted Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma, and plan on experiencing places like Paris, Chichen Itza (when my son graduates, we are going to go there together), Japan and Himalaya before I leave this planet. I believe that you should experience fabulous places with someone you cherish, as opposed to tour groups with strangers, but that is just me. I have one child, a son, in college. I am a fan of Beatnik culture, Renaissance and Modern art, music, constellations, clocks, fast cars, classic gangster films, children's books, Architecture, and fighter jets. TURN OFF'S people who hurt children and animals, for they have no voice. clutter. selfishness. haters. copycats and other creative thieves.
