I'm from Ventura California but at present I'm living in the burbs near Bangkok in Thailand. I came here in Sept. 1996 to visit a sister and never seemed to find my way back to the states. I'm retired from the U.S. military. I love travel and history. I spend some of my time just poking around and seeing and meeting alot of different types of people. I like to spend time on the internet. For me there are quiet and sometimes hetic days. But, no complaints from me. Things could be a heck of alot worse. In "Skype" My Usrename is: "theguyrocks". Also I can be found in FaceBook and Skype under the same Username.  

Activities

Travel. I like traveling. The adventure of going to and seeing new places and meeting people is very educational and usually enjoyable. At present I'm spending my time in Thailand. There are many, many Buddhist temples of different types to see. The beaches are very nice as are the people. Thailand is a very interesting place to see and explore. The food is enjoyable but a little too hot for me sometimes. I do enjoy surfing the internet. I have met some pretty remarkable people all over this world that way.

Usually I donate to local charties because then I know where my donation is hopefully going to be used and someone might benefit.

Favorite Music

I like all types of music. I've been collecting a whole range of music over the past few years in the mp3 fromat. I would like to collect some music videos in the not to distant future.

Favorite TV Shows

I like to watch all kinds of old "stuff" and like to watch what's available. The television in Thailand is a little too retro 60's-70's for my taste and my handle on the Thai language leaves a lot to be desired.

Favorite Movies

I have been collecting some olde movies. A lot of historical, comedy, war, romance and animation olde and new.

Favorite Books

Usually just about I can get my hands on written in English I read. I make a monthly trip to the bookstore and look for books. I've aquired an interest in Thi-Chi lately so that's my present quest.
