- More about me

I'm a writer and a storyteller. I write my own books and also ghostwrite books for others. I believe that sharing our stories and our wisdom connects, teaches, inspires, and heals us all.
My books: "Making History: how to remember, record, interpret & share the events of your life." Also "You Can Be an Author Even If You're Not a Writer." Also a fiction book in the magical realism genre, "Eating Mythos Soup." And finally, my new book coming out in Spring 2008, "Dog Park Diary: the social round of Goody Beagle." (Yep, it's about my dog and me at the dog park.) All these books are available on Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com.
I own a writing service called Primary Sources. The website is www.primary-sources.com. Come visit me and read my blog -- I share lots of free writing tips, free stories, free history quizzes -- and I love comments! www.primary-sources.com/blog/
Also I am a mask-maker, with over 100 masks hanging on my walls -- although what in the world I'm going to do with them I'm still not sure. But I love making them; no doubt it fills some deep psychological need.
I have two beautiful, accomplished, activist daughters and one and one-half grandchildren (the "one-half" is still inside his mother). Being a grandma rocks!
Also I have a great dog named Goody Beagle with whom I share an incredible psychic connection.
I confess to being a political junkie of the liberal persuasion. I care deeply about environmental issues and social justice.
I am a very lucky woman. I like to network with other people in love with living.
