Places I've been

I was born in Columbus, Ohio and I love the country side with its big red barns and corn fields but I left my heart in Texas. I lived in Texas for 23 years and will always miss it but will probably never return. I am now looking forward to seeing many new places. Have thought a lot about moving to the Seattle area after graduation. I have been to most states in this wonderful United States of ours. I have been to Mexico and will one day visit Europe. So much to see, so little time, but hope to see as much as I can in the time I have.

Hello Eon Friends,

I love life!

I am 54. I have two children and am single after a 21 year  marriage.

Recently finished my Bachelors degree in Communication.  It was a long journey but very memorable and worth all the effort.  As they say, "better late than never."

I love Jazz and Asian inspired music. I love and will always love, learning new things. I love to travel, go on adventures near or far.

I like to be around people that look on the positive side of things and that do not judge others. I try never to judge another person. One exception, I have no tolorance for people that hurt children, women or seniors.

I love what Hollywood offers us in the form of intertainment but our soldiers, fire fighters, police officers and health professionals are my heros. Did I mention school teachers and day care workers? They are the true heros!

Activities

I love to walk when the weather is nice. I am starting yoga and love it but will enjoy it more when I become more limber. :)

Jazz and Asian Inspired. But I also enjoy most every other kind of music depending on my mood with the exception of rap from 5 cars back. :)

House, Scrubs, Medium, HGTV and CBS Sunday Morning.

I am a movie buff but some of my faves consist of: Shaw Shank Redemption, As Good as It Gets, American Splendor, Sideways, One Golden Pond and just about any action flick.

Favorite Books

I love books! But my favorites are, Gertrude Stein's "Geographical History of America, " Simple Abundance and Something more as well as Charles Dickens "David Copperfield."
