A few days ago while working at the US Army hospital we are building here at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait I received a very sad email. A colleague who had worked in the trailer office next to mine and who had lived in the apartment next to mine from June 1st to December 21st 2007, and had returned home to be with his family suffered a massive heart attack and died in the emergency room of the hospital he drove himself to because he did not feel well. He was 62. I'm glad Robert got home to spend the Christmas season with family. He was on a new assignment when he was stricken. Of course I sent a very sincere message of condolences to the family who I only knew by conversations with him. I'm sending this message to remind myself and others that life is short. Live it to the fullest. laugh heartedly, love passionately, forgive often, and relate with others as often as you can. AND most of all, remember that you have won the lottery - you live in the USA!
