Places I've been

I've lived in Northern, Southern and Central California. I also spent some time in Cincinnati. Traveling is most thrilling to me. I've been to Switzerland, Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Tahiti, Cook Islands and all over the USA.

My passions are sporty activities and traveling. I've been running for 30+ years... and thank you... my knees are still fine. In 2003, I traded my mountain bike for a road bike. A year later, I decided to take up downhill skiing in a serious way. I have been hiking ever since I was little.

Whenever possible, I like to take "active trips"... such as my bike trip through Croatia in 2007, an archeological mountain biking trip in Crow Canyon, CO, hiking in the Swiss and Austrian Alps, climbing up Waynu Picchu (Machu Picchu). In 2009, I hiked with friends in the North Cascade mountains... very scenic. My most fun hiking adventure was in April 2010 when I hiked to the base of the Torres del Payne (towers) in Patagonia.

I count my blessings daily... for having great health, for my athletic ability, for having an upbeat personality and for having wonderful friends to laugh with and to share fun times with on trails, on the road and on slopes. Yippeee.... life is good!
