More about me

I'm 58, recently widowed and the mother of three young adults. I love to read, write, dance, (especially salsa). I write for Travel and Enjoy, Travel Lady and my local newspaper, located in a small town on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I've recently entered the world of scriptwriting for graphic comics.

I love sailing and the tropics. Isla Mujeres, Tobago and Cane Garden Bay are among my favorite places in the world. But I'm holding that judgment until I get to Senegal, India, Dubai, Lake Como and Ticino.

I own Sand and Silk/Soleful Strut, www.sandandsilk.com, a company for which I make creams, scrubs and handmade soaps from scratch. I produce private label products for a nationally known hair care company and have created a line of products for best-selling author Donna Hill and her promotion company.

My favorite time of day is sunrise - it ought to be, with all I cram into one day!
