I was an Army brat born in San Francisco, lived in Orlando until I was 7 then moved to Texas and then Georgia where I stayed till I ran away from home at 17 and went to Lompoc CA where I married my first husband in 1970 and had a beautiful baby girl, Julie, in 1971, divorced in 1977, remarried in 1978 and moved to San Diego where I lived until June 2007. In January 2007 my husband of 29 years told me he had been having an affair for 2 years and he wanted to be rid of me so he could be with her, he filed for divorce and I moved to Santa Maria June 2007 and then moved again April 2008 back to Orlando to escape my ex constantly pissing on me any chance he got. I have come full circle. Don't cry for me...SHE got the worse end of this deal. She is going to find out real fast that he is a royal pain in the butt... LOL ... I am VERY VERY glad to be free and have a life of my own at long last. I miss my busy life, his huge family and my big house but I sure as hell don't miss my ex in the least... well maybe I miss that I have no one to open jars or put out the trash.. that's about all he was good for.

I am 58 and starting over completely. I plan on learning and doing a lot of things I was never had the time to do when I was married. Suggestions are welcomed... I really am not sure where to start.

Love renting the old movies and watching them with lots of popcorn. My favorites old and new are.. Out of Africa, Gone with the Wind, Pretty Woman, Titanic, anything with Robert Redford!!!

Favorite Books

I love self help books but most of the books I am reading these days are for computer classes. My ex was the one that took care of all the computers. I figure I will give myself about 2 years to figure out if I can understand these things. Then I will decide if they are worth the expense or not. Anyone know of any online classes I can take please let me know. I have a Mac and a PC.

My cat Binky who I had to leave behind when I moved from CA to FL. That was sad but I found her a very good loving home and she now has 2 other cats and 2 dogs to play with. They tell me that she is very happy... She will be missed very much.
