More about me

I am a NYS Certified Teacher and was head of the local union for 7 years. I am Methodist and since ending my union officer work, I have devoted more time to my church.I am the webmaster for our church. Go to www.auburnunitedmethodist.org to view it and join us or just talk to our new Pastor. We have a lot going on with reaching out to our social needs, all kinds of classes and committees galore. I also built a database using MS Access with all committee members. I teach general business and computers. I love animals and support the Human Assoc. and our local Finger Lakes SPCA. The photos are of my golden, Beau and my Bichon, Dolly. I also have a Korat named Tyfanny. Since I wrote this, I now have a Tonkinese, Chloe and a Chihuahua, Gizzy. I free hand oil paint and am starting my pottery wheel work soon.

Activities

We live on one of the Finger Lakes, so we boat, swim and fish. I love the water and have lived on lakes a great part of my life. See the above to see my other interests.

I am a fan of all types of music except most hard rock and some opera.

Favorite Charities

I support a child in Africa through Compassion. I support Humane Association, SPCA, many needs through our church, Missions (recent is sending our church members to help in MS and LS), SEFA, local needs, etc. I am Caregivers Chair.

Favorite TV Shows

I enjoy 'Dancing with the Stars', "American Idol', 'Antiques Roadshow', 'Animal Planet' and all documentaries or informative shows. I like watching the discover, history, bio, public, animal planet and travel channels as well.

Favorite Books

Since becoming wiser (nicer than older), I now enjoy escapes into fiction. Among some of my favorites are: Lee childs, Sarah Brown, Of course, many computer software books that I teach. Cs3 Dreamweaver..can't wait to get into that one! I like religious, too. A book the has stayed with me for years is "Knock on any door"..can't remember the author right now. Also, "A Fine Balance" is an eye opener! Oh, many many more....

New York city is sooo alive and exciting. Las Vegas is exciting and alive, as well. The Bahamas are majestic and tranquil. Hawaii is a dream land.But, nothing beats my couch at home LOL!
