More about me: I grew up in Michigan, now live in Florida. My passion (aside from my hubby) would be animals and music. I became a bird watcher after my husband made a couple of bird houses for our backyard years ago. This eventually led me to rehabilitating sick and injured birds and small animals for several years. I learned so much about animals, we decided to open a pet shop. This kept me extremely busy for several years and is an experience that conquered a lot of my shyness. After the pet shop years, we turned our backyard into a little backyard wildlife habitat for birds, butterflies, frogs/toads/lizards, fish ponds and anything else that wants to travel through our backyard. I learned to play the piano in my 40's, after attending an Elton John concert...lol. I told my husband I would love to sit next to Elton and watch him play, because I loved the piano so much. My next birthday, a piano was delivered and I took it from there. I'm not very good, but I love the idea that I know how to play. My favorite possession is probably my binoculars. I take them everywhere. There is just so much to see.
