My grandparents took me to the Smoky Mountains at least once a year, we had family in Knoxville, and there was one spot that I will never forget--on a winding road way above the trees, we would pull off the road to this spot where there was a large rock on the edge of the cliff. I loved sitting on that rock looking below at the morning fog hanging thru the tree tops, the cool, fresh air..it was a wonderful feeling. That would have to be my favorite place.
