Places I've been

I spent most of my childhood and all of my adult life in Orlando, Florida. Ten years ago we moved to our summer home in Blue Ridge, Ga. in the mountains. It's like stepping back in time with peace, quiet, and wild animals on a daily basis. We raise an show registered Paint Horses and have been very successful with them traveling from Fla. to Fort Worth, Texas for the World Championships. We placed and were ranked nationally in the APHA Top Twenty. I just started showing my Border Collie puppy in October of last year and he was finished this April. I broke my foot in three places at a dog show in Lake City, Fla. so had a wonderful professional handler show him for me. I enjoyed it so much I bought a full littermate to show in obedience and breed.

More about me

I have always been animal oriented. I studied Psychology at Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla., where I focused on animal behavior. While attending college I worked for a vet giving me the opportunity to be up close and personal with a variety of animal problems. Since moving to Blue Ridge, I also have the opportunity to work with a wonderful vet part time. My days are spent schooling five show horses and my Border Collies. I love attending dog shows and horse shows which are the reward for all the hard work. The best part is meeting new people with common interests.
