More about me

I am the oldest child and have one brother and six sisters living.  I went to a catholic grade school and lived in a south suburb of Chicago.  I loved history and wanted to travel,  so I joined the Air Force, and my first assignment was Grand Forks, North Dakota.  I volunteered to get out of the cold and went to Adana, Turkey.  I met my husband in 1981 and we spent most of our time overseas with a home base in Las Vegas, Nevada. I retired and  I now work for the State of Nevada with developentally disabled (mentally retarded) children who also suffer from severe behavioral problems who can not live life in other settings.  I assist them in learning life skills to eventally recreate and live in the community with fulfilling lives.  I have no children and Robert was my soulmate and the most important person in my life. 

After 26 years I have lost him; he was the best thing that ever happened to me, and the best part of me.  I want to some day remember him as I know he would want me to healthy, handsome and happy.
