    Places I've been
Akron, Ohio (Hometown), Born in Akron - an industrial town which was the headquarters of virtually all of the U.S. based rubber companies (Goodyear, Goodrich, General Tire, etc.) near the Cuyahoga River -- which was the first river in the history of man known to have caught on fire (June 22, 1969). After high school I hitchhiked around the U.S. to Washington D.C., Washington State, California, and many points between. I went to college in St. Louis, Missouri, and I've been around the Sante Fe and Taos area as well as Overland Park, Kansas. I've visited people in Juarez, Mexico, and family in Tennessee, Kentucky, and Michigan.

    About me

I am a multi-faceted individual with a passion for learning, art appreciation, love, and life.  I've probably lived as much in my 56 years as 3 or 4 lifetimes for most people.

My thinking and experience are not mainstream.

While my life hasn't been what I would call easy,

it has certainly been an adventure.

Now that you are over 50, what are you doing that you never thought you would?

Nothing I can mention on this forum. OK, so that's not such a funny joke. I tried tho! I'm still practicing some of my songs and some of my favorite tunes to play for friends. I'm alive - and like Mickey Mantle said: "If I'd known I was gonna live this long I'd have taken better care of myself." I'm still learning - every day I learn something. I've learned a lot of different ways that healing can occur for a wide variety of different "incurable" conditions.

What organizations do you belong to?

I am one of the founding members of the International Procrastination Society - well, I will be once we register it >>> probably next year. Actually, I agree with Groucho: "I don't care to belong to any club that would have me as a member."

    Where were you born?

I was born in an Osteopathic Hospital in Akron, Ohio the same year that many newborns (in incubators throughout the country) were given 100% oxygen which resulted in blindness. I was not premature (for once), and I was not put into an incubator. I feel like "There but by the grace of God go I." (which pertains to virtually ANY human condition).

What is your favorite picnic food?

    BBQ & Coleslaw
