I am Christ awakening, masquerading as a long term student of A Course in Miracles and a beginning student of The Way of Mastery as well as a Pathways of Light Minister. My story has me as a divorced mother of four and grandmother of two. I live in Louisiana and work during the week as a chemical sales rep. What brings me the most joy is my ministry which allows me to mentor, counsel, teach/learn, and perform spiritual ceremonies. But there is no part of this life which is outside my one purpose of awakening.

I collect comedies and shows that have hidden metaphysical messages. Some of those are Vanilla Sky, Groundhog Day, Defending Your Life. When I choose to take time to watch a movie I like to practice stepping back from the drama and looking for the life lesson. I figure it is easier to learn from their lessons than my own. :)

My real reading: ACIM, The Way of Mastery, The New Earth, The Most Direct and Rapid Means to Eternal Bliss, The Other Voice, Journey Beyond Words, The Holy Spirit's Interpretation of the New Testament, Inner Healing, The Disappearance of the Universe, Dialogue on Awakening, The Journey That Never Was and others. My substitute for vegging out in front of the tv: Books by John Sandford, Tony Hillerman, Lee Child, Robert B Parker, David Rosenfelt, Lawrence Block, Carl Hiaasen, Robert Crais, P D James and others. Mostly mysteries. I don't like books which tug on the emotions or are overly sad. I am trying to see these things differently and don't want to increase these feelings by wallowing in them. It is one thing to look at them and let them go, and another to play in them. I am dropping more and more books as I lose all desire to scare myself. Occasionally I find a book that is just happy. I love that. I don't need a lot of emotional drama to entertain me anymore.

I haven't been to enough places to pick a favorite one. Of the place I have been I liked all of them. I like Louisiana and the parts of Texas I have visited. I liked San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Pathways of Light Spiritual College, the ocean at Galveston, the huge skys in west Texas, the mountains (from a reasonable distance) in Tennessee, the extraordinary great lake Ontario, the gorgeous outdoors of upstate New York, the interesting diversity in NYC.
